    The nearest mainline station is Three Bridges which is only four miles away and is on the London to Brighton railway line. The Gatwick Express, with a non-stop line to London Victoria, is 15 minutes away by taxi.  You can book taxis from the train station to Worth School.

    By air

    London Gatwick Airport is just 10km and 10 minutes away and has regular scheduled flights around the UK, Europe and other international destinations. London Heathrow is just 50 minutes (70 km) away.

  • Where is the CELEBRATE festival taking place? 

    In the grounds of Worth School, a private co-educational Catholic boarding and day school near Worth, West Sussex, England. The school is located within Worth Abbey, a Benedictine monastery, in 500 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside. Camping will be available in the fields within the grounds as well as residential accommodation in the school boarding houses.

    The keynote talks, worship and Mass will take place in the Festival Big Top located within the grounds of the school. The children and youth groups, and the breakout sessions are situated in the school buildings. We will be using the Abbey for some quiet times of personal prayer . The Hospitality Tent will house the Creche and Exhibition area. 

    What can I expect?

    The festival aims to provide a relaxed, fun, and faith-filled experience for individuals of all ages, including families, youth, and parishes. There will be lots of opportunities for socialising and sharing with others. There will be opportunities to encounter God through Mass, the sacraments, prayer, praise, worship, teaching, breakout sessions and age-appropriate groups for 3-22 years alongside opportunities for sports, walks, and a variety of family activities. 

    When does it start and finish? 

    The festival programme starts at 15:00 on Saturday 16 August and finishes at 13:00 on Wednesday 20 August 2025. 

    What time can I arrive and what do I do on arrival? 

    Upon arrival, you will be directed by our friendly stewards. Please ensure you have your booking to hand (either printed out or downloaded in advance, as the mobile network is poor). At registration you will show your tickets and be given the relevant lanyard/wristband for entry into the festival. 

    Campers

    MUST arrive on: 

    • Friday 15th August between 15:00 and 20:00 or

    • Saturday 16th August between 09:00 and 12:00.

    On site residential accommodation delegates 

    MUST arrive on Saturday 16th August between 10:00 and 14:00. If you need to arrive outside these hours, please email festival@celebratetrust.org. Please note the first catered meal will be supper that evening.

    Where do I go if I need help during the festival? Throughout the week, the Information Desk will be situated in the Hospitality Tent. Come and ask us any questions!

    When do you close?

    The festival ends at 13:00 on Wednesday 20 August 2025, and all delegates have to be off site by 15:00. Showers will close at 9am that day and there will be reduced campsite toilets from 09:00 to 14:00 although toilets are available in school buildings. All other campsite facilities close at 15:00. 

    We ask all campers to pack down promptly, taking all belongings, litter and refuse with them.

    What is the programme?

    There will be a full festival programme including groups for children and young people, and details will be made available in due course. Keep an eye out for speaker announcements and more details on our website and social media channels! 

    Will there be a Children’s Ministry?

    Yes, we are delighted to offer a full programme for children aged 3 - School Year 6. The Children’s Ministry will be located within the school buildings. Registration will begin at 14:30 on Saturday 16 August for parents/guardians to come and register their children. The first session will then take place at 15:00.

    Will there be a Youth and Young Adults Ministry?

    Yes, we are excited to offer a full programme for youth aged School Year 7 - 22 years. The Youth/Young Adults Ministry will be located in the school buildings.  Registration will begin at 14:30 on Saturday 16 August  for parents/guardians to come and register their youth under the ages of 18 years. The first session will then take place at 15:00.

    Will there be a Creche?

    Yes, we are pleased to offer a Creche located in the Hospitality Tent near to the Festival Big Top. The Creche provides a space with age-appropriate toys for babies and children under 3 years. Parents/guardians must stay with their babies/children at all times. The main adult programme will be relayed via a live link in the Creche area for parents/guardians to watch.

    What Safeguarding is in place?

    CELEBRATE is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all young people and vulnerable adults. We have a Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy that is reviewed annually. All staff and volunteers for the CELEBRATE festival have to ensure they have read and understood our safeguarding policy and all teams who are responsible for children and young people have to partake in safeguarding training and provide us with a current DBS and references. The festival designated Safeguarding Lead is Sarita de Kretser safeguarding@celebratetrust.org

  • Can I book day tickets and stay off site/organise my own accommodation?

    Yes, you can book delegate tickets for the full festival period only and travel to the festival each day. Individual day tickets are unfortunately not available at this time. 

    Are family ticket discounts available? 

    Yes. CELEBRATE values and supports Christian family life, and we try to do all we can to make CELEBRATE accessible to families.  The family ticket allows for up to 2 adults and their children (in School Year 13 and under) to attend CELEBRATE and is heavily discounted to make this possible. If you are a family of more than 3 children, the delegate ticket price will remain the same price as a ‘Family’ ticket, but you will need to contact us for a discount code at festival@celebratetrust.org

    Are discounts available for priests, religious and deacons? 

    Yes. CELEBRATE would love to welcome Priests, Religious and Deacons to the festival, and we are pleased to offer specially discounted delegate tickets. Catholic Priests wishing to concelebrate must submit a valid Celebret. Deacons must submit a letter of good standing or equivalent from their Ordinary.

    Are there any other costs?

    To help us cover the costs associated with the processing of your booking, there is a £3 non-refundable administration fee per person when you make your booking. 

    Can I pay by instalments?

    Yes, attendees can spread the cost of their booking across a number of months at no extra cost.  As part of the booking process, if you select pay by instalments, we will collect a payment of 50% of the total ticket and accommodation price, up front.  The remaining balance will be collected over two payments on 1 April 2025 and 1 July 2025. For example, if your total price is £400, £200 will be collected upfront, £100 will be collected on 1 April and a further £100 on 1 July 2025. Your card details will be held securely with our card processor (Stripe). Please be aware that any donations made cannot be spread and would be collected as part of the initial payment.

    Your tickets will only become available once the final payment has been made. Your initial payments will be treated as a deposit which is subject to the refund policy in our Terms and Conditions.

    Is it possible to book and pay on arrival?

    No, all bookings must be booked and paid for ahead of time. Anyone without a ticket will be turned away.

    Why do you ask for donations?

    In order to make this event as affordable as possible, we have kept prices as low as we can. Tickets and accommodation alone will not pay for the festival, so our hope and prayer is that many will feel called to support us. Please prayerfully consider the option to donate towards the festival on booking and at the offering during the festival. As a charity, we are a not-for-profit organisation and are required to fundraise all-year round to cover all costs for the charity and this event.  

    Can I include other delegates when I’m making my booking?

    Yes, when completing the booking form, you can choose to add additional delegates. 

    Should I book by a certain date?

    Our last event sold out ahead of time and we have a limited number of children and youth and young adult places, so we would recommend booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment! 

    How do I get my ticket(s)?

    When booking online you will receive an email which will contain the tickets.  The email will be sent when the tickets have been paid in full.  Please be aware that the mobile signal cannot be relied upon on site so we suggest downloading the tickets to your phone if you do not plan to print them off. At the registration desk, you will collect your lanyard/wristband(s) giving you access to the event, including the campsite if you have selected camping. 

    Can I add camping to my booking at a later date?

    Yes, you may be able to add accommodation later, subject to availability. If you would like to do this please contact us on festival@celebratetrust.org

    If I need to cancel, will you issue a refund?

    As per our Terms & Conditions, refunds will only be considered in the case of exceptional circumstances. Contact festival@celebratetrust.org

    I would like to come to the CELEBRATE festival, but can’t afford to. Can you help?

    We don't want finances to be a barrier for anyone wishing to attend the CELEBRATE festival, so a limited amount of discounts will be available to individuals and families (parent/guardian and children in School Year 13 and below) which we can share with discretion. Please reach out in confidence to us at festival@celebratetrust.org

  • We are offering two options- 

    Camping accommodation

    You can pitch up in the fields surrounding the Festival Big Top as directed. Camping facilities include toilets and showers, and sinks for washing up. All campers will be required to self-cater. There will be no cooking facilities available so you must bring your own catering equipment. IMPORTANT - Please read all Campsite FAQ for more information such as the restricted use of some catering equipment.  

    On-site full board school accommodation. 

    Full board accommodation is provided on-site at Worth School, with breakfast, lunch and supper included for the festival period. A range of room options are available with some ensuite facilities and others with shared bathroom facilities, all situated in boarding houses. Please note this accommodation normally houses students. 

    Can I stay locally and attend the festival?

    Yes. You will need to purchase delegate tickets for the whole festival period. Please note however, the school gates are closed to vehicles between 23:00 and 06:00. Please ensure you are wearing your lanyard/ wristband to re-enter the site. Should you need to leave the site on foot please be aware that the road outside the school can be very busy and has no pavements. In the past the School has experienced a fatality, hence, to cross the road you must use the school footbridge.

  • Can I book camping on arrival?

    All camping needs to be booked in advance, alongside delegate tickets for the festival. 

    Where will I be camping?

    You will be camping on the fields near the Festival Big Top.

    When does the campsite open?

    Campers must arrive between 15:00 and 20:00 on Friday 15  August 2025 or between 9:00 and 12:00 Saturday 16 August 2025, and will then need to collect lanyards/wristbands.

    When does the campsite close?

    The festival ends at 13:00 on Wednesday 20 August 2025, and all delegates have to be off site by 15:00. Showers will close at 09:00 that day and there will be reduced campsite toilets from 09:00 to 14:00 although additional toilets are available in school buildings. All other campsite facilities close at 15:00.

    Can I extend my camping stay?  Can I arrive earlier/leave later?

    The earliest arrival time is 15:00 on Friday 15th August 2025. The school will not be open to delegates before this time. The latest departure time is 15:00 on Wednesday 20 August 2025. No extension is possible beyond these times.

    What campsite facilities do you provide?

    Campers have access to campsite facilities including toilets and showers, sinks for washing up, and bins for rubbish and recycling.  We hope to provide refreshments in the Hospitality Tent.

    What facilities do you not provide?

    We do not provide tents or camping equipment including sleeping bags, mats, torches, pillows etc. No catering facilities are offered. There are no electrical hook ups, so please plan accordingly. 

    I am bringing a tent. Can I park my vehicle next to it?

    Due to Health and Safety, vehicles are not permitted on the campsite. Please follow the instructions of the event stewards who will direct you to the designated car park.

    Can I bring my caravan, campervan/ motorhome or trailer tent?

    Unfortunately it is not possible for delegates to bring caravans, campervans, motorhomes or trailer tents due to space and facility limitations on site.

    Can I save a pitch for my friend/ family?

    The allocation of pitches is on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, to avoid disappointment, please arrive early/together with your friends/family. For safety and privacy, please ensure there is space between tents so that guy ropes and pegs do not cross, or extend beyond the designated pitches. Please ensure emergency access routes are kept clear at all times.

    Can I bring a gazebo for shade?

    Yes, you're welcome to bring a gazebo. You'll just need to make sure it is erected next to your tent, and the size is not more than 4.5m x 4.5m.

    Can we bring multiple tents?

    In order to ensure everyone gets a place we can only accommodate a maximum of two tents per camping booking. 

    Is the campsite vehicle free?

    Yes, the campsite is vehicle free, that way it’s safe and open for all to enjoy! The campsite car park is nearby. 

    Do you have accessible campsite facilities?

    We will do our best to make this festival accessible to everyone. If you have any accessibility requirements, please contact us prior to booking at  festival@celebratetrust.org

    Can I sleep in my car?

    No, for Health and Safety reasons, attendees are strictly prohibited from using their vehicle as accommodation. 

    I am under 18. Can I camp on my own?

    All children and young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian who is also residing on the campsite. If under 18, you will also be required to pitch your tent next to that of your parent or guardian. 

    Am I allowed a fire on the campsite?

    We do not permit the lighting of any kind of fire at the CELEBRATE festival. This includes naked flames/open fires/disposable BBQ’s and other similar items. Any person in possession of such items will be asked to dispose of them and/or may be refused entry to or ejected from the festival.

    Can I have a BBQ on site?

    You're welcome to bring your own gas BBQ. This needs to stand off the ground and you must bring your own fire extinguisher. Disposable BBQ's are notpermitted due to fire risk and as they have a very high environmental impact.

    Can I bring a gas stove/ burner and gas canister?

    Yes, contained, off-the-ground portable gas stoves/burners/small gas canisters are permitted. We ask that anyone using a gas stove/burner/small gas canister bring their own fire extinguisher. All equipment must be checked and undamaged before use on site. For your health and safety our camping team will be doing spot checks on equipment.  

    Can I bring a generator?

    Generators are not permitted on the campsite. If you are found to be in possession of a generator, we will ask you not to use it.

    Do you have electric hook-ups?

    We don't have any electric hook-ups on the site. We'd recommend bringing a USB power bank to charge those devices you can't leave at home.

    Will there be anywhere I can charge my phone/electrical devices?

    There will not be any public charging points. Please ensure you bring your own power banks or enjoy some time device-free!

    Can I smoke on the campsite?

    Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited on the campsite. Please use the designated smoking area detailed on the event site map (available upon arrival).

    Can I bring my animals with me?

    Animals are strictly prohibited across the site, other than Assistance Dogs. If you need to bring an Assistance Dog, please contact the team on  festival@celebratetrust.org

  • What time will my room be available from?

    Your room will be available from 10:00 on Saturday 16 August 2025. Your first catered meal will be supper that evening.

    What time do I need to vacate my room at the end of the festival?

    You will need to vacate your room by 15:00 on Wednesday 20 August. We do ask that you please strip your bed before you leave.

    What is the school accommodation like?

    Worth School is an independent boarding school with student accommodation. Accommodation is situated in houses across the site. Some rooms are ensuites, whereas some have shared bathroom facilities. 

    What type of beds are there? 

    There are only single beds. Please note that the beds are slightly higher than standard single beds (ranging from 67- 88 cm from the ground). If this presents any issues, please contact us before booking on festival@celebratetrust.org

    Is there accessible school accommodation?

    Yes, there are limited accessible bedrooms at Worth School. Please specify any accessibility requirements on booking, or contact us at festival@celebratetrust.org  if you have any enquiry.

    Are there bedrooms with more than 3 beds?

    Yes, limited family rooms with more than three beds are available, so please email  festival@celebratetrust.org to find out more.

    Will there be towels and bedding?

    Bedding is provided, but you will need to bring your own towels and toiletries. Please do not use spray deodorants in the residential accommodation as they can set off the fire alarms.

    What meals will be provided?

    Those in school accommodation will receive breakfast, lunch and supper in the school refectory. The first catered meal will be supper on Saturday 16 August 2025, and the last meal will be lunch on Wednesday 20 August.

    What if I have food intolerances or allergies?

    Worth School is able to cater for all dietary requirements such as allergens, medical diets, religious diets etc but does not make allowances for preference based diets. Please inform us as part of your initial booking as Worth School may not be able to accommodate any changes later.

    Can children be left unsupervised at the festival ?

    We know how much fun it is to be with friends at CELEBRATE, so it is key for us to point out that when not in the Children and Youth groups, parents/ carers have sole responsibility for those in their care. CELEBRATE can not be held responsible for any children under the age of 18 years left alone in their rooms/tents or unsupervised at the event. 

    Is there a curfew on noise? 

    Yes, we would expect you to be respectful of those in residential accommodation by making no undue noise after 22:00. We reserve the right to evict, without refund or compensation, those who breach these terms.

    Can I smoke in my room?

    Smoking and vaping is ONLY allowed in the designated smoking area detailed in the festival site map. It is strictly prohibited in all other areas, including the campsite.

    Can I bring animals with me?

    Under no circumstances are animals permitted in your room, or anywhere at the event, with the exception of Assistance Dogs who are trained and identifiable. The Assistance Dogs are allowed in the campsite and certain buildings only. If you need to bring an Assistance Dog, you must contact us on  festival@celebratetrust.org prior to your arrival at the Event.

  • What time can I arrive?

    Campers can arrive from 15:00 to 20:00 on Friday 15  August or between 9:00 and 12:00 Saturday 16 August 2025.

    Residential accommodation delegates can arrive on Saturday16 August 2025, from 10:00 until 14:00. If you need to arrive outside these hours, please email festival@celebratetrust.org. Please note the first catered meal will be supper that evening.

    Upon arrival, you will be directed by stewards. Please ensure you have your booking to hand. Please be aware that the mobile signal cannot be relied upon on site so we would suggest downloading the tickets to your phone if you do not plan to print them off.  You will need to go to registration and show your tickets. You will be given the relevant lanyard/wristband for entry into the festival. Please allow enough time on arrival to visit registration, as access to the event is dependent on this.

    Can I leave the site throughout the week?

    Yes, you can come and go as you wish. However, the school gates are closed to vehicles between 23:00 and 06:00. If it is absolutely necessary to access the site between these hours then you will need to go to the Worth Abbey entrance and park in the Abbey car park and then move your car ASAP to the designated car parks when the school gates are open. Please ensure you are wearing your lanyard/ wristband to re-enter the site. 

    Should you need to leave the site on foot please be aware that the road outside the school can be very busy and has no pavements. In the past the School has experienced a fatality, hence, to cross the road you must use the school footbridge.

    What if I don’t want to appear in CELEBRATE Photography/ filming? 

    We will be taking photos and filming for use in future publicity material. If you, or anyone in your group, do not wish to be audio-recorded, filmed, or photographed, it is your responsibility to advise us prior to your arrival at the event at festival@celebratetrust.org so that we can ensure appropriate measures are taken. We will share these measures with you either prior to or at the festival and request that you adhere to any measure we put in place to fulfil your request.

    What food options will there be? Will you cater for dietary requirements?

    Food is only provided for full board residential accommodation delegates. Dietary requirements will be asked for when you book your place, as Worth School may not be able to accommodate any changes later.

    If you are camping you should come prepared to self cater, but there may be a catering van on site for one or two nights.

    Where can I get a map of the site?

    Copies of the site map will be given at registration.

    What should I bring?

    Please bring your tickets (printed or downloaded on your mobile device as network coverage is poor) so the registration team can issue your lanyard/wristband(s). If you are camping, please bring your own camping equipment (including tent, sleeping bag, bedding, night gear etc). If you are staying in residential accommodation, bedding is provided but you will need to bring towels, and any toiletries you may need. Please do not use spray deodorants in the residential accommodation as they can set off the fire alarms. We encourage delegates to plan for all weather eventualities so be sure to bring your wellies, waterproofs, umbrellas, suncream, hats, trainers, etc.

    Who is responsible for my possessions at the event? 

    You are responsible for all of your belongings whilst you are at the event. CELEBRATE holds no responsibility or liability for loss or damage to your possessions, including vehicles. You leave your vehicle in the allocated area at your own risk.

    Will I have access to WI-FI?

    There is limited WI-FI access available for delegates in the school buildings. There is no WI-FI in the campsite. 

    I have misplaced something. Is there a lost property collection point?

    Yes, all lost items will be taken to the information point in the Hospitality Tent. To report or hand in any lost property just make your way to the information point, which is clearly marked on the site map. Lost property is logged and held securely until it is claimed. If it has not been retrieved by the end of the festival it will be donated to charity or recycled.

    Is smoking allowed on-site?

    Yes, over 18’s are able to smoke or vape on the site, but ONLY in the designated smoking area on the site. The site map detailing the smoking location will be available upon arrival. It is strictly prohibited in all other areas, including the campsite.

    Will there be a bar?

    A bar will be provided in the evening after the daily programme has ended, where you will be able to purchase wine, beers and soft drinks and snacks. Under-age drinking is strictly prohibited.

    Can I bring alcohol?

    Yes, alcohol is permitted in the campsite and in the CELEBRATE bar area only. We expect responsible drinking from those who are aged 18+ years only. Under-age drinking is strictly prohibited.

    What items are banned?

    As you might expect, all illegal items are prohibited.  Any person found with such items, will be ejected from the site and will have no right to receive any refund of any type from CELEBRATE. The incident will also be reported immediately to the appropriate law enforcement agency where CELEBRATE will disclose any details concerning your data as required by such an agency.

    Other things prohibited include - pets, drones, low-level portable/charcoal/ disposable BBQs, laser pens, and electric scooters, except those needed for disability reasons.

    Can I come and exhibit my organisation/ charity at the CELEBRATE festival?

    At our festival, we  are always open to share the good work that other like minded charities and organisations are doing. Please contact festival@celebratetrust.org

    Can I sell goods/ merchandise for my business?

    If you wish to explore the option of exhibiting at the CELEBRATE festival please contact festival@celebratetrust.org.uk and request details of our Exhibitor package. We do not permit the selling of any unauthorised goods/merchandise on site, unless you are one of our authorised exhibitors. 

    Can I distribute flyers/ promotional material?

    We do not permit the distribution of flyers/promotional material on-site, unless you are one of our authorised exhibitors. 

    What if I need medical attention?

    There will be first aid available at the festival. Please speak to the nearest steward who will be happy to assist you.

    What shall I do if my child is missing?

    If your child is missing, please alert a member of the security team or information desk as soon as possible. We ask all parents/guardians to take great care in supervising their children at all times.

    Is there a space for wheelchair users?

    We have a designated area for wheelchair users in the Festival Big Top. Please see stewards for any help. Please note the Festival Big Top and campsite is situated on farmland. There are pavements around the school, and there are lifts in many of the school buildings. Please contact us at  festival@celebratetrust.org to discuss how we might make your stay as comfortable as possible.

    Are there baby changing facilities?

    There will be a baby change mat in the creche area in the Hospitality Tent.

    Are animals allowed on site?

    No, we do not permit animals anywhere onsite. Only Assistance Dogs will be permitted. If you need to bring an Assistance Dog, please contact us on festival@celebratetrust.org prior to the event.

    I am a Priest/ Deacon. Can I come to minister at the CELEBRATE festival? 

    We would love to have you come to serve the event. If you would like to exercise your ministry at the CELEBRATE festival, please contact our Deacon Jonathan de Kretser at sacristy@celebratetrust.org  Catholic Priests wishing to concelebrate must submit a valid Celebret well in advance please. Deacons must submit a letter of good standing or equivalent from their Ordinary.

    How can I come onboard as a sponsor?

    I would like to volunteer. What should I do?

    Thank you! We need a wide variety of helpers to run this event – stewards, Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, prayer ministers, camping hosts, hospitality tent team, welcome and registration team and site helpers.
